Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located off of Indiana State Highway 56 between Scottsburg and Salem. Click here for driving directions.

Q: Is parking free?

A: Yes!

Q: Are bathrooms available at Cornucopia Farm?

A: Yes. Portable facilities with hand-washing stations.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?

A: Yes. Visa, Mastercard and Discover in our farm market and online.

Q: What is included with General Admission?

A: General admission includes a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, full access to the farm and activities with the exception of the Cow Train and Corn Cannon. Tokens for those activities can be purchased at the door when you arrive, or anytime during your visit! All pumpkins (from the field and the farm market) are weighed and have a per/pound price.

Q: Can I bring my dog or pet?

A: Unfortunately, we must ask your furry friends to stay home unless they are a working service dog or prior arrangements with management have been made. We have some unusual noises and other animals that are not familiar to off-farm animals which can cause them to act differently. We appreciate your understanding.

We do invite you and your furry friends to join us the last weekend of the season for our Dog Dayz Event. Click here for more information on our special event tickets

Q: What should I wear?

A: We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes! Our farm has lots of grass and gravel. (Visitors must wear shoes at all times while visiting the farm.) We also ask that clothing and attire be family-friendly. No revealing clothing (tops or bottoms), crop tops or clothing with obscenities.

Q:  Do you have food?

A: Yes! Click here to view the Cornucopia Café hours and menu.

The café is open with a full menu on Saturday’s and Sunday’s and after 5 pm on Friday’s. We have a limited menu during the day on Friday’s and the café is closed during the week.

The farms signature baked goods and apple cider slushes are available during regular admission hours until we’re sold out!

A: Yes, several picnic tables are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Q: Is smoking permitted at Cornucopia Farm?

A: No, this includes the use of electronic devices.

A: No, bring a flashlight.

Cornucopia Farm LLC is owned and operated by the Kevin and Linda Baird family. Family fun is at the heart of what we do, and so from our family to yours Welcome to the Farm! We love being able to offer a working-farm experience during the fall season.

Kevin and Linda are celebrating 40 years of marriage this year, while the farm will celebrate its 34th year! Both sons, Michael and Jared, are graduates of Purdue University and are involved in the planning and production of Cornucopia Farm along with their wives – Valerie and Kayla.

The Bairds are active with the Little York Christian Church and believe that God has truly blessed them to live on a farm, especially one that they get to share! Kevin and Linda serve as the 4-H club leaders of the Gibson Township Super Stars and are also involved in Washington County Farm Bureau, See What Ag Gives and other community activities.

Cornucopia Farm received the River Friendly Award in 2013 for their farm management practices that protect Indiana’s rivers, lakes and streams.

“We’re honored to be a recipient of this award. Conservation and stewardship of the land are very important to us because we want to leave it in better share for those that follow behind us,” said Linda.

Pictured above is Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann, Linda Baird, Kevin Baird and Indiana Farm Bureau President Don Villwock.

The Bairds Honored as “2013 Indiana Farm Family of the Year.”

The Bairds were also Honored as the 2013 Indiana Farm Family of the Year, an award sponsored by Agri-News and Beck’s Hybrids. Click here to view the story from Beck's Hybrids.
